About the event
A women/femme identifying jam session for acoustic style instruments! Unplug and join us for this acoustic jam in a collaborative and supportive environment. Women can bring a song or two to share, or just come and add your instrument and/or voice to the song circle. This jam is open to women of all skill levels and ages.
Note: while things are generally unplugged, we do use some amplification. Because we usually have several acoustic guitars, those are not amplified. There will be at least two vocal mics through a PA to share for singing/harmonies. We can also accommodate other instruments (keyboard, bass or other) on a case-by-case basis. The spirit of the jam is to keep it a "listening" volume - and we work to create that balance.
